Meet May’s Botrista Beverage MVP Aaron Flowers, Senior Director of Beverage Program! Aaron possesses an undeniable talent and a passion for the food and beverage industry. He is knowledgeable, a team player, a people person, and a highly valuable asset to Botrista.
Aaron went to University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a B.S in Communications. Aaron brings great experience in the food and beverage industry to Botrista. “In my previous roles, I was like a sponge. I soaked up valuable information and learned from some of the most seasoned professionals in the industry.”
“I found the opportunity to work for Botrista on LinkedIn and spent some time researching the company and the DrinkBot. I knew there was nothing quite like this on the market, and it's going to catch like wildfire!”
Thus far, Aaron’s favorite part about being at Botrista is our drive to succeed. “I have never been at a company where there is dedicated time during meetings for thought, and innovative ideas are openly shared and productively wrestled with. I also appreciate that our leaders are accessible and consistently focused on team goals. It’s refreshing to see everyone roll up their sleeves and be willing to support in any way possible!”
Outside of work hours, Aaron can be found either at the gym or outdoors. “Lifting weights is a big part of my lifestyle… And fishing is my favorite hobby”. Aaron appreciates the time he gets to spend with his wife and his two kids. “My wife is always so supportive, and my children are my motivation.”
When asked what he lives by, Aaron replied, “Two things that have helped me through hard times are my faith in God and my family. My parents and grandparents have laid the foundation for me and have endured so much to give me the opportunity to achieve anything. My maternal grandparents moved to the US from Mexico in the 1960s. My paternal grandparents actually met while picking cotton as sharecroppers in Oklahoma. My father instilled discipline in me, and without that, I would be lost. My mother instilled a work ethic in me that is unmatched and unwavering. I pay homage to them, and I am forever grateful. No matter how old I get; I just want to make them proud.
